is an award-winning Polish jazz guitarist, composer, and bandleader who has been pursuing his artistic vision for over two decades. His work is defined by a consistent dialogue between different cultures and musical styles, driven by a curiosity to explore the boundaries of jazz.
A significant milestone in his career was the Przemek Strączek & Asian Strings Collective project, where he collaborated with Asian musicians, integrating traditional instruments like the guzheng and erhu into his jazz compositions. This project, which resulted in the album Three Continents, became a hallmark of his approach: using music as a bridge between cultures, founded on mutual respect and attentive listening.
He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Janusz Muniak and Andy Sheppard and has toured in 17 countries across three continents. His accomplishments include the album Fig Tree, recognized as one of the best European jazz albums of 2020, and his recent album Endless Mystery, featuring British saxophonist Andy Sheppard. Strączek has released eight albums, and each of his projects is characterized by a clear vision: to create music as an art of encounter and communication.
