Edith Steyer is a free improvising and composing clarinet and alto saxophone player with her roots in jazz and classical music. She prepares her instruments with music tools and elements from every day life. She also experiments and combines the prepared instruments with electronic devices and feedback.
Clarinetist, saxophonist, improviser, composer based in Brno. In addition to his education in classical music, he mostly focuses on contemporary, experimental and improvised music. He works with a wide range of musical practices and tendencies - from jazz, freejazz, through contemporary aestetics, to the sound experiments and free improvisation.
Márton Palatinszky is a scientist, working at the University of Vienna; and an underground musician. He plays the scenes in Budapest and Vienna especially with his bassclarinet.
Nicky Kokkoli was born in Athens, Greece. She is an active member of the Greek Jazz and Free improvisational music scene, developing her own solo projects as well as participating in various music ensembles.
I consider free improvisation to be a complex art. In the speech of improvisers, all knowledge, skills, experience and human character come together. Quality improvisation requires a mature and creative artist who can suppress his ego, help create a collective work and who respects the aesthetics of the improvisational community. Improvising with such artists fills me with immense happiness.
Saxophonist, pianist, improviser. As an improviser he performs in various international ad hoc line-ups in clubs and festivals in Croatia and Europe.
