Vanessa Mattei Scapaccini

Vanessa Mattei Scarpaccini is a young artist who explores the gifts the body can offer to space, time, and their rhythm. She grew up in the countryside of Tuscany with a Polish mother and an Italian father, and from a very young age, she began exploring movement languages, with a primary focus on contemporary dance. She has collaborated with musicians and art galleries, beginning to develop an approach based on the “state” as the starting point of every act of care that the body can manage.
